The presidential debate which took place in Abuja on Sunday 22nd of march 2015 was organized by the N.E.D.G (Nigeria Election Debate Group). The debate is expected to be the last debate that would be held, before the commented of these year general election. Among the 16 the 16 candidates running for the post of presidency are:
. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan (PDP)
. Martins Onovo (NCP)
. Remi Sonaiya (KP)
. Godson Okoye (UDP)
. Chekwas Okorie (UPP)
Meanwhile, the Presidential candidate for the strongest opposition party Muhammadu Buhari (APC) was absent at the debate.
Presidential/National Assembly election holds 28th march 2015 while Governorship/state house of assembly hold on 11th 2015.
