INEC EXTENDS CLOSING DATE FOR THE COLLECTION OF PVC

The deadline for the collection of permanent voters card PVC, earlier scheduled to end on Saturday 31st of January 2015 as been postponed to Sunday 8th February 2015. These announcement was made by Mr Idowu who is the spokesman to the INEC chairman Professor Atairu Jega. Mr Idowu also appeal to registered people who are yet to collect their PVC to go an collect their card, saying the electoral commission as reaffirms it's determination to conduct a peaceful free and fair election.

President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has listed out 7 ministerial nominees which are yet to be approved by the national assembly.
List of the nominees for  the post of minister include Musiliu Obanikoro from Lagos state (former minister of state for defence), Patricia Akwashiki from Nassarawa state (former senator) and Kennet Nobani (formal national treasurer who deflected from the Action Congress Of Nigeria 'APC') among others.

PSQUARE BURIES LATE GRANDFATHER

Today, January 30th, the Okoyes family lays their grandfather  Pa Okoye Moses to rest in his hometown in Dunu, Anambra state.
   According to daily times, Pa Okoye slumped and died at is son's residence in Ikeja, lagos state shortly after returning from a surgical operation.

Minister of agriculture and rural development Dr Akinwumi Adesina told news men that the avian influencer, also known as bird flu is now present in 4 other state in Nigeria which are  Gombe, Oyo, Imo, and Jigawa excluding the 7 other state where these virus seems to be present.

He said the tour was shifted since the judge refused to sign off on his travel tour until he finish his last 100hours of community service.
