EKITI STATE PROTEST AGAINST FAYOSE IMPEACHMENT

Indigenes and the Peoples Democratic Party in Ekiti state, has protest against the plot by the 19 APC law makers to impeach the state governor Ayodele Fayose. The 19 APC law markers who alleged the governor of an eight impeachable offence had since the 17th of November 2014, abdicated their duties as a law marker in the state. Security operatives barricaded the roads leading to the Ekiti state house of assembly and also the roads leading to the state. Vehicles were debarred from entering and leaving the state.
More also, protesters In the state blocked strategic roads leading to the state house of assembly with government buses and log of woods.
Fayose yesterday in a media chat denounced the rumour circulating around that President Goodluck Jonathan advise him to resign as the governor of the state. He also said that he hasn't received any impeachment notification from the 19 APC lawmakers.

Ekiti state (south Western Nigeria) has 26 state house of assembly lawmakers, out of which 19 are APC party members while 7 are PDP. members

The outgoing Nigeria President Goodluck Jonathan has congratulated the incoming President Muhamudu Buhari over his victory, Jonathan who called Buhari around 5:00pm on 31/03/2015 said he would give him his own maximum cooperation. Buhari who had 15,424,921 votes defeated Jonathan who scored 12,853,162 votes.
    Buhari won 21 state while Jonathan won 15 state plus the F.C.T.

The Ekiti state governor Peter Ayodele Fayose has imposed curfew on it's state starting from 7:30pm to 6:30am. The governor announced through the Broadcasting Service of Ekiti State B.S.E.S. The Curfew was declared in Ekiti state to maintain law and order. No one knows till when the curfew ends in the state. The governor also congratulates Muhamudu Buhari on his victory as the incoming President of Nigeria. Fayose said that " General Muhamudu Buhari is a dogged fighter".

BUHARI WINS JONATHAN IN THE JUST CONDUCTED PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION

Among  the  14 political parties that participated in th 2015 general election conducted by the INEC chairman Prof Attaihiru Jega  in Nigeria, MUHAMUDU BUHARI of  the ALLIANCE FOR PROGRESSIVE CHANGE emerges as the Nigeria president as he wins in 22 states  out 36 state plus  the F.C.T { Federal Capital Territory}.

 At about 1: 00am, INEC commenced the readings of the election result. But before the commencement, a party agent from the ruling People Democratic Party, Mr Orubebe { former FCT minister} raced an observation in annoyance  that inec as looked into APC complaint on  Rivers State {southern election and that the inec chairman hasn't looked into its complaint about the election in the northern Nigeria part of Nigeria. Mr orubebe also said that jega was partial. Qouting some of his  words said “INEC  is selective, Nigerians will not allow it” “let jega go to his office, he cant  do it their;  let  him go to his office.

   The inec chairman later addressed the issue when a party agent from APC  raised an observation, as the coalition officer from rivers state was about to state his readings. The INEC chairman said inec set up a 3 man committee, and  as investigated the issue.  According to the inec chairman their was no substantial reason why the election should be can canceled..

INEC chairman Professor Atahiru Jega says the announcement of Nigeria election would reconvene 10: 00 AM tomorrow 31/03/2015. INEC today releases election result for 19 state.
