FAYOSE HOLDS THANKSGIVING SERVICE WITH 26 E.K.H.A MEMBERS

Today 7th of june, Governor Peter Ayodele Fayose holds a Thanksgiving service for the newly elected  Ekiti State House of Assembly members at the Deeper Life Campground, Ajebamidele, Ado Ekiti. Among those that were present at the thanksgiving service were The governor and his wife Mrs feyisetan, the Deputy governor Mr Kolapo Eleka and his wife Janet, the newly elected speaker Mr Kola Oluwawole, his wife and the other 25 house of assembly members, Royal fathers and other dignitaries.

The governor in his word said "I have a destiny and my enemies will not stop fighting until I achieve my destiny. When they lose one battle, they will start another one".

He also Read a bible verse, from the book of  Act 5: 39 --- "But if it is from God, you will not be able to
stop these men; you will only find
yourselves fighting against God."

The newly elected 5th Ekiti House of Assembly Members, were inaugurated on the 5th of June 2015, at the EKHA complex behind the state secretariat in the state capital Ado Ekiti.

EX PRESIDENT JONATHAN SPOTTED IN LONDON

Former Nigerian President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan was spotted in London.
A Nigerian named Chinedu Ozordi bumped into the former President at the Heathrow Airport in London. Chinedu who took a photo with him posted it on Twitter with caption,

"Goodluck goes to London Without the bowler hat".

OMAWUMI SEEKS FORGIVENESS FROM CHILDHOOD FRIENDS

Nigeria singer Mgbele Omawumi was given birth into the family of Chief Dr. Frank and Mrs. Aya Megbele on 13 April 1982. Omawumi attended Nana Primary School, she furthered her education at the College of Education Demonstration Secondary School.
She graduated in 2005 from the faculty of Law at the Ambrose Alli University. Omawumi, began her career in music, shortly after she was voted 1st in the runner up of the Idols West Africa.

She wrote on her instagram that

"I have had a bit of time to reflect these past months waiting for belle to come down. I observed amongst other things I haven't been a good friend to most of my friends especially my old friends from 'before I blow'. I have not reached out to some people who out of love did their bit to nudge me in the right direction. If I start to name name we go old here. Friends from my childhood, from demonstration, from Ekpoma, from Port Harcourt, from my idol days, on my journey as a musician, you wey put money or sweat for me. FUEL TANKER FALLS AT LEKKI EPE EXPRESSWAY

A day after a diesel tanker rammed into a house at Idimu bus stop, at iyana paja Lagos state. Another tanker fell in Lagos early on Sunday morning, June 7 along Lekki-Epe expressway. As at the time of this report was compiled, it wasn't stated if their was any lost of life and property.

FEMALE SUICIDE BOMBER DETONATE BOMB IN BORNU

A female suicide bomber, and two other person were reportedly confirmed dead, by the Nigeria Police Force in Borno. The Bomb blast, occurred , on Sunday morning,7th June,  along Baga/Monguno highway.

Bornu state Commissioner of Police Aderemi Opadokun, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that only four persons were also injured in the explosion.

“A female suicide bomber detonated an Improvised Explosive Devise (IED) strapped on her body  killing herself and two others on Saturday.

“Four persons sustained injuries during the attack,’’ the commissioner in his word said.

Mr Aderemi also said that“It is true that we had a suspected IED explosion at Tungushe village in Konduga LGA on Saturday near a military check point.

“Two persons were injured and they are now being treated at the hospital,’’.
