MILITARY ATTEMPT GOVERNMENT IN BURUNDI

Thousands of people in Bujumbura (Burundi capital city), has jubilated as military takes over government from Burundi President Nkurunziza in a coup de tat. Gun fire were held in Burundi state capital, as police fires ammunition at protesters and soldiers.
   Meanwhile the Burundi President is currently in Tanzania for a summit with the Tanzania President Jakaya kikwete.
Gen Niyombare (rebel leader) said: "The masses have decided to take into their own hands the destiny of the nation to remedy this unconstitutional environment into which Burundi has been plunged". The General also said in a private radio station that he has ordered "the closure of the airport and border, and I ask every citizen and law enforcement down to the airport to protect it". Presidenti Nkurunziza is planning to run for a third term administration, which against the two term in office.

KIM JOUG UN PUBLIC EXECUTION OF NORTH KOREA DEFENSE MINISTER

The north Korea leader, Kim joug un was reported to have publicly ordered the execution of his defense minister Hyon Young Chol (66yrs), on the 30th of April. Reports from South Korea agency made it known that Hyon Young Chol (the defense minister), was killed in front of hundred of people in a military camp in Pyongyang, by an anti-aircraft gun at a military camp.
  Hyon Young was also reported to have shown discontent, towards the north Korean leader , which made him ordered his execution.

NEPAL STUCK BY FRESH EARTHQUAKE

Barely 2 weeks, after which Nepal was struck by earthquake (25 April). A fresh earthquake occurred on Tuesday in Nepal, leaving more than 36 people killed and more than 1000 injured.
The quake which was initially reported to have a magnitude of 7.1 was later confirmed to be having a magnitude of 7.3. BBC reported that the quake occurred at around 6: 50 GMT, 18 km southeast of kodari, near the base of mount Everest, after which it was followed by 6 after shock of magnitude 5.0;  a tremor occurred 30mins later.
A BBC correspondent who was in Nepal when the quake occurred said "The earth shook for a pretty long time".

BURUNDI PRESIDENT INSIST ON 3RD TERM RE-ELECTION INTO OFFICE

Protest in Burundi heightens as  President  Nkurunziza Pierre insist on his 3rd term re election into office as the country president. More than dozen of people have died, scores  injured while about 35,000 people have fled the country , Protesters includes Civil society and opposition parties who have staged various protest in the country state capital (Bujumbura) . Election is slated to hold on 26 June  2015, according to the Burundi constitution, A President is limited to two terms in office.

NIGERIA ARMY RESCUE KIDNAPPED 200 GIRLS AND 93 WOMEN IN SAMBISA FOREST

The director of information for the Nigerian Defense, Major General Chris Olukolade has confirmed the rescue of 200 girls and 93 woman, by the Nigeria Army, during a military operation in the Sambisa forest (Bornu State) Nigeria. The Nigeria defence wrote this through it's Twitter account. The information director also told PUNCH correspondent in a telephone conversation.
   Chris Olukolade said it hasn't been confirmed if the rescued 200 girls were the Chibok girls kidnapped by Boko Haram on the 14th of April 2014.
