MILITARY ATTEMPT GOVERNMENT IN BURUNDI

Thousands of people in Bujumbura (Burundi capital city), has jubilated as military takes over government from Burundi President Nkurunziza in a coup de tat. Gun fire were held in Burundi state capital, as police fires ammunition at protesters and soldiers.
   Meanwhile the Burundi President is currently in Tanzania for a summit with the Tanzania President Jakaya kikwete.
Gen Niyombare (rebel leader) said: "The masses have decided to take into their own hands the destiny of the nation to remedy this unconstitutional environment into which Burundi has been plunged". The General also said in a private radio station that he has ordered "the closure of the airport and border, and I ask every citizen and law enforcement down to the airport to protect it". Presidenti Nkurunziza is planning to run for a third term administration, which against the two term in office.
