HALIRU BELLO EMERGES AS PDP ACTING BOT CHAIRMAN

The former Minister of Defence, Haliru Bello MOHAMMED emerges as the acting PDP- BOARD OF TRUSTEES chairman. The former minister was the only one nominated at a meeting which took place on may 25, at the Presidential villa in Abuja. Among those that were present in the meeting which took place at about 9:00pm includes:  President Jonathan, and Senate President David Mark, Deputy Senate President Ike Ekweremadu, PDP Women leader Josephine Anenih among others.

MOHAMMED Born in Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State Capital on October 9, 1945, Dr. Bello Haliru Mohammed is married, and has six children.

Bello Muhammed succeeded Tony Anenih, who was the former BOT Chairman.
