According to Punch reports, The statement was made through the ex governor spokesman, Bello Zubairu, on Monday. Mr Bello said Marwa decided to leave the party
“on personal grounds".
The spokesman also added that
“Marwa appealed to his numerous supporters and well-wishers who have been calling him for direction from across the country to await his next move,”
It wasn't disclosed, if he would be joining the All Peoples Congress (APC).
CROSS RIVERS STATE GOVERNOR LOCKS OUT LATE COMERS

PUNCH reported, that the governor arrived at the state complex at around 7:45am and directed Mrs. Mary-Theresa Ikwen, who is the Head of Service, to lock all the gate leading to government house, at exactly 8:10am. Prof Ben who on his first day in office, gave this order when he discovered that the complex was almost empty.
The governor therefore said, “If heads of MDAs could report to work as early as 8am, I see no reason why their subordinates should not be in their respective offices on or before that time. For those who are late today, we will pardon them but from tomorrow, all latecomers will be locked outside and sanctioned accordingly.”

EFCC ARREST 6 CBN WORKERS AND 16 OTHERS FOR #8 BILLION SCAM
Posted By: Unknown - Monday, June 01, 2015The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC, has arrested 6 Senior staffs of the Central Bank of Nigeria, alongside 16 bankers from other commercial banks for a #8 billion naira scam.
According to reports from vanguard, the suspect whose names are Patience Okoro Eye (Abuja), Afolabi Olufemi (Lagos), Kolawole Babalola (Ibadan), Olaniran Muniru Adeola (Ibadan), Fatai Yusuf, Adekunle (Head, Security, CBN (Ibadan) and Ilori Adekunle Sunday (Akure). Were alleged of "stealing and putting into circulation defaced and mutilated Nigerian currency notes to the tune of N8 billion meant for destruction".
Their trial is scheduled to hold on Thursday 4th of June 2015.
