Emma Ugolee and Juliet Ibrahim holds a kidney awareness walk with patients and friends in Accra (Ghana Capital city) some days ago.
They both endure people in Ghana and beyond to join them in the campaign, by creating awareness to people on kidney disease.
Kidney disease referred to as renal disease can be diagnosed by screening of people who are at the verge of kidney problem. Kidney disease can be diagnosis and discovered by blood test for creatinine. Patients whose kidney are damaged are placed on a dialysis machine, so as to filter their blood, remove excess waste product and water in them.
SYMPTOMS & SIGNS
1. Accumulation of potassium in the body.
2. Accumulation of urea leading to azotemia kidney diseases.
3. Sexual dysfunction mostly in men and women with CDK.
4. Increased blood pressure resulting to the overloading and production of vasactive hormones, which the kidney secretes through the remains of angiotensin system (might lead to hypertension).
