POPE FRANCIS SPEAKS AGAINST CAPITAL PUNISHMENT

Pope Francis in a letter he sent to the President of international commission against

death punishment  for offenders considered life imprisonment instead of capital punishment. The pope said "life especially that of human belongs to God. Not even a murderer lose his personal dignity and God himself is the guarantors" The pope furthermore referred to the case of Cain in the Bible when killed his brother Abel, he God didn't punish him with death.
